This course aims to address some of the general issues in the study of human beings as social and cultural creatures, as well as specific questions arising for the different disciplines like economics, sociology, anthropology, historical studies, politics and policy studies. The course will be delivered jointly by faculty of the Philosophy Department. Students will be invited to a workshop which addresses George Soros's theory of reflexivity, with a contribution by external experts.
